Dr Nazneen Rahman CBE, MD, PhD

Nazneen is Founder and CEO of YewMaker, an action lab that builds, tests, and scales sustainable healthcare solutions. YewMaker is the initiator and executive partner of the Sustainable Medicines Partnership, a multi-stakeholder collaboration reducing the waste of medicines and from medicines. Nazneen is a Non-Executive Director at AstraZeneca, where she Chairs the Science Committee and the Sustainability Committee. Nazneen was Professor of Human Genetics at The Institute of Cancer Research, London and Head of Cancer Genetics at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust until 2019. Nazneen has garnered numerous awards, including a CBE in the 2016 Queen’s birthday honours for services to Medical Science. Nazneen is also a Singer-Songwriter and has released four albums.
